The variety of Kale changes based on availability! Likely to be either Lacinato Kale or Red Russian Kale.
Kale is a super food, and our specialty kale leaves extend excellent health benefits, lowering cholesterol, fighting cancer, and decreasing inflammation. Prepare leaves steamed, sautéed, or roasted. Kale is a classic fall flavor and combines nicely with garlic, peppers, chickpeas, sausage, squash, and apples.

Once really cold weather hits our region, this organic vegetable will be sourced from our closest southern neighboring states.

Franklin Sustainable Farms is a Co-op of Amish Farmers living in South Central Pennsylvania. With very few exceptions, like winter stored root vegetables or apples, your produce is harvested the day before you receive it, providing maximum freshness & nutritional value with every delivery.
